Privacy Policy and Common Platform Terms
This page explains, in plain language, how Debtica handles website visitors, demo requests, product communications, message-recipient questions and the basic privacy expectations that apply to use of the Debtica web application.
Important note
This page is a practical public notice for Debtica visitors, prospects and users. It is not a replacement for a signed customer agreement, data processing agreement, service order or other contract. If a customer agreement says something different, that agreement normally controls for the customer relationship.
Debtica is a software platform. Debtica is not a debt collector, creditor, purchaser of claims, law firm or credit bureau. Debtica does not decide who should be contacted, why a person is contacted, what message is sent, or whether any claim is valid. Those decisions belong to the customer organization using the platform.
For questions about Debtica privacy or product data, use the website demo/contact form or your existing Strider Solutions contact. If you received a message from an organization that uses Debtica, the organization named in that message is normally the right first contact for questions about the claim, account, legal basis, correction, objection or deletion request.
For people receiving customer communications
Some Debtica customers may use Debtica modules to prepare, organize or send communications connected to their own debt, receivables, portfolio, servicing, migration, document, reporting or marketplace workflows. In those cases, Debtica provides technical tools to the customer.
The customer controls the communication. The customer chooses the recipient, the message content, the timing, the channel and the purpose. Debtica does not send messages for its own independent benefit and does not use recipient data to market Debtica, sell recipient profiles, enrich Debtica’s own database, make collection decisions or pursue claims.
Where Debtica processes recipient, debtor, account, case, document or communication data, it normally does so on behalf of the customer and under the customer’s instructions. Debtica may store or process the minimum technical records needed to deliver the service, such as configuration, message status, audit logs, delivery evidence, security logs and support records.
If you receive a message and want access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or more information, you should normally contact the organization identified in the message. Debtica can support its customer with technical records where appropriate, but Debtica usually cannot change or delete a customer’s underlying records without the customer’s instruction.
What Debtica does not do with customer data
- Debtica does not collect debtor or recipient data for its own collection activity.
- Debtica does not decide the legal basis for a customer’s debt, claim, account or communication.
- Debtica does not sell debtor, recipient, account, legal or portfolio data.
- Debtica does not use customer-uploaded debtor data for Debtica marketing or unrelated profiling.
- Debtica does not create an independent Debtica-owned debtor database from customer content.
What information we may collect
Website and contact data
When you visit the website, request a demo or contact us, we may collect your name, business email, company, role, message, product interest, newsletter preference, technical browser information and basic security logs.
Application account data
When an organization uses the Debtica application, account administrators and authorized users may provide login details, organization details, configuration choices, usage records, support messages and product activity logs.
Customer content
Debtica may process data that customers upload, configure or manage in the platform, such as portfolio, migration, collection, valuation, document, reporting, marketplace, recipient, debtor, account, communication or case information. The exact data depends on the modules a customer chooses to use.
Support and operations data
We may process diagnostic information, error logs, audit records, security events and support correspondence to operate, protect and improve the service.
How we use information
- To respond to demo requests, product questions and support requests.
- To provide, operate, secure and improve Debtica and its modules.
- To manage customer accounts, authentication, permissions and organization settings.
- To send product or marketing updates when you have requested them or where business communication is appropriate.
- To detect abuse, troubleshoot incidents, preserve service availability and meet legal or contractual obligations.
Kontrolleler and processor roles
For website, demo, marketing and direct support interactions, Strider Solutions normally acts as an independent controller of the information it collects. For customer content processed inside Debtica on behalf of a customer organization, Strider Solutions normally acts as a processor or service provider, and the customer organization decides what data is entered, why it is processed, who may access it and which communications are sent.
Debtica is designed to support GDPR-aligned processing, including customer-controlled purposes, role-based access, auditability, service-security records and processing under customer instructions. Where required, customer-specific data processing terms should be handled in the customer agreement or a separate data processing agreement.
Cookies and similar technologies
The public website and application may use cookies or similar storage for strictly necessary purposes such as security, session management, authentication, preferences, forms and service reliability. If analytics, embedded media or optional marketing tools are added, they should be disclosed and, where required, controlled through consent settings.
You can usually manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent parts of the website or application from working correctly.
Sharing, hosting and transfers
We may share information with trusted service providers that help host, secure, monitor, support or operate the website and application. These providers should only use the information for the services they provide to us or to the relevant customer.
Where information is transferred across borders, we aim to use appropriate safeguards such as contractual protections, recognized transfer mechanisms or customer-specific arrangements where required.
Retention and deletion
We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described on this page, for customer service delivery, for security and audit purposes, or as required by law or contract. Customer content in the application is normally retained according to the applicable customer agreement, configuration and deletion instructions. Debtica does not retain customer debtor, recipient, legal, account or portfolio data as an independent Debtica asset after it is no longer needed to provide the service or meet contractual, security, audit or legal requirements.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you are located and the role we play in the processing, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability or withdrawal of consent. For customer content inside Debtica, including data connected to a debtor, recipient, account, case, claim or communication, we may need to refer requests to the customer organization that controls the relevant data.
You can unsubscribe from optional product communications using the method provided in the communication or by contacting us through the website.
Security and acceptable use
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the website and application. Users must keep credentials confidential, use authorized accounts only, avoid uploading unlawful or unnecessary personal data, and not attempt to bypass security controls, disrupt the service or access data they are not allowed to access.
If you believe you have found a security issue, please report it through your existing Strider Solutions contact or the website contact/demo channel.
Changes to this page
We may update this page as Debtica, its modules, hosting arrangements or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published on this website with an updated date.
